It is always best to meet with the calligrapher in person, that way you can view actual samples of lettering on different types of card stock. You will see some with smooth finishes, and those with deckle or rough edges. Finding the calligraphy style that you like might be a little challenging for some of you. There are so many to choose from. Here are just a few styles to name Elaborate Copperplate, Flourish Italic, Vixen, Attitude, and Italic. All are very elegant and would be perfect for any event invitation. There are a lot of informative websites that you can view samples of the writing styles.
